Netflix With One Day To Go. Also Boeing, Tesla And Caterpillar.

Here is a one day chart showing how Neflix traded on December 31st 2025. It sold off on the opening and then had a decent rebound followed by a flat to down closing. January 1st was a holiday and options on it expire on Friday, January 2nd. Now look at a chart of how the 93 series of Calls that expire tomorrow (January 2nd) traded on the previous trading day December 31st. At one point in the day they rallied only then to sell off again. Here now is the same chart from a different provider. Let's put a bold spin on things. Let's move up the price point by $1.00 to the 94 dollar price level and put a new spin on things. Will the 94 series of Calls with one day to go jump on the opening January 2nd which is tomorrow? Why the 94 series and not the 93 series? Well it's hoping for a rebound from three prior days of falling markets. Here they are. Both of the series we are showing are slightly "out-of-the money" one day Calls. Both need a sizeable morning bounce to p...

Another Blog On "Vinfast"

There is so much to read about this companies history online. Do your own homework. Their success is not dependent on what ends up happening with their sales in North America. They are nimble. There are plenty of auto factories all over the world now for sale they can acquire. They have dabbled in Australia. Having access to money to keep going doesn't seem to be their problem. Rivian also seems to enjoy this advantage. Vinfast is currently building a new plant in India which could employ thousands of people. That's an emerging new market. New relationships are being built and new investors will be coming onboard.
Are option players looking at this stock? Not really if we look at these "one-month-out" Calls. What about Calls further out? What about next January? Here is a look at the three and four series of Calls.
Nobody seems willing to bet Vinfast Calls. Now this. Here are two snippets taken from a blog I wrote about this stock back in early December of 2024. The stock went from $4.00 to over $5.00 in two days.
Look at the volume. So many people missed the action back then. The history as to how this company gotten this far is a facinating read. Am I reckless in talking about options like this? Well if your good at playing options and you can churn out profits trading other big cap stocks on a regular basis then you can afford to dabble in small ways in start up E.V. companies like this one. Just be prepared to take some hits along the way.
