"End Of The Day" Friday Option Trading On Tesla

Back on April 2nd I did a blog called "Two Hour End Of Week Option Trading on Tesla". In that blog it was noted that Tesla dropped in price starting at 1:30 p.m. and 42 minutes later it was $5.95 lower in price, approaching the "must-get-out" at 3:00 p.m. mandated option deadline. Put option buyers getting in around 2:00 p.m. did well on their investments. (The stock was down $20.67 on the day). Here was it's chart on that day. It was a Thursday with Friday being Good Friday. Now let's fast forward to today's action, it being the following Friday. Tesla options had a tough start to the day. Here an example of what I am talking about. Look at the 347.50 series of Calls at 12:34 p.m. Are you able to see how they are down in price on the day? Now this. A look at how these same options closed out the day. They charged back upwards towards the close. The $140.00 option price we were looking at below is actually a 4:00 p.m. readout. This chart shows Tesla ...

The Deere Jump And A Decision To Make On Friday Morning If You Want To Catch The Action

Read my last blog. Yesterday John Deere shot up to the sky. Will there be a fallout today? That's the current question. The first printout shows the 645 series of Calls at 10:17 a.m. There was some action early in the morning. These options expire today.
Look at this printout. The Call options crashed on the opening and then rebounded. I can explain better what happened by showing both it's five day and one day chart.
Can you see the massive jump it had yesterday? Now can you see on the printout below how it dipped on the opening at 9:40.00 a.m. to 647.05? That's when the 645 Calls dipped down to $6.00 before jumping back up again and doubling in price.
One has to now wonder if the 9:40 a.m. reversal was a computer generated/Ai move given that it happened at exactly 9:30 a.m. So now what? Let's look at the current chart above and think about whether or not we want to buy the Puts to catch what looks like to be a fall. Here is one series to consider.
At 10:18 a.m. would you be happy with that decision? If so here is how they are trading 49 minutes later. Take a guess what they might be trading at. Are you ready to find out? Here they are.
Sellout and say thanks or wait. It's your call. Here is a new chart at 11:14 a.m. Deere seems to be hanging tough. That said, it's often wise to take any profit on a Friday when you see one.
Now it's five day chart at 11:25 a.m. which might help add a different perspective.
Can you see how the day is not over yet? Or is it? To be continued.
