Electric motorcycles. It's a new field. Companies in India and China are now making them. So Harley Davidson has decided to spin off a new company to start producing them. It's wise to place that operation in a new name. New money comes just on the strenght of the Harley name and the company gets to wander off in a new direction to tinker on something new. It's called "LiveWire Group". Symbol "LVWR". But wait, lets be blunt. There are start up cost and learning curves. They are taking a go slow approach keeping guidance numbers low. Model offerinsg down the road a few years from now will probably be more disireable. It is doubtful that the early models will prove to be collectable. Back in 2019 when this Canadian stock went public (Symbol SNDL) it traded for eight dollars a share. It didn't stay at that price level for very long. Look where it is at now and look at how it continues to slide downwards. Does it look like its going to turn around in the near future? The companies CEO seems to think so given what he says but in 2021 they lost $232 million and their sales were flat. It'a Calgary based company with 580 employees (2021) trying to dance to the changes in the marijuana industry. You see marijuana companies are scrabbling to find new ways to sell their product.
