Boeing Hangs In On A Day The Markets Are Down.

Let's start with it's five day chart.
The indexes are down on the day at 1:07 p.m..
Now here is a look at one series of Calls that expire at the end of the week.
There is next to no interest in them and they are down 48% on the day. There was no Monday morning pop this time. These are sleepers meaning they could jump if something changes and four days is a long time away. Now it's one day, mid day chart.
Boeing bottomed out at 2:27 p.m. and rebounded. That might make for a stronger opening.
In my August 25th blog about five common mistakes I said don't buy end of week expiring options on Monday or Tuesdays. In this case I just like how it ended up closing strong. It's next earnings report doesn't come out until October 28th which means there are no worries about that for the next six weeks or so. Let's look for a pop on the opening. Now this, no pop happened however the damage done wasn't all that great.
There was some life on Wednesday and [t's chart looks healthier.
....
Yet we are just back to where we have started and time is now working against us. A rally on the morning would get us out and teach us to not to go near early in the week one day options on stocks in this price range.
