Nvidia Option Trading Which Expire Today

Before we look at what the "Call-and-Put" option prices are on Nvidia going into a Monday morning I want to show you it's five day chart as of it's closing on Friday. It doesn't really tell us all that much except that it could pop on the opening to regain all that it has just lost. Now it's thirty day chart. Every couple of weeks it seems to swing by $20.00. Now let's look at the price of the 210 Calls and 210 Puts at the close last Friday that expire today a Monday. How you feel about which way the market is going to open? Catch the action correctly and you could double your money. Now this on Monday morning. Nvidia opened up $.07 cents and kept going up. The chart might look like it was down on the opening however the downward action you see on the chart was in the last ten minutes of Friday's trading. Boeing Jumps Ten Percent In One Day!

1) It's chart.
2) A look at how two series of Calls reacted to this news. This time around the volume of options in these two Call positions and other Boeing Call option positions spiked. What a poor way to be offering this kind of guidance.
3) The news. The exact wording of what was said by it's C.F.O. can be found on other news outlets. It wasn't presented in formal way or in a clear and professional manner.
4) Here is why the timing of this news was so welcomed. Here is Boeing's news from 31 days before. What a different story.
One month ago Boeing dropped to $205.00 on this news. The bottom line to all of this is that this kind of "happy days" news is putting so many other stocks like Caterpillar in unchartered territories. It's all kind of like walking on eggs.
5) As just mentioned, Caterpillar today also jumped up on this burst of euphoria. Caterpillar didn't really have any good news of it's own.
6) Deere recently had a decent earning report which was watered down by it's reporting officiers. I am waiting it to start kicking itself back up again.
There is so much about all these upward spikes that doesn't feel quite right.

A Fireside Chat - One Year Options and Thirty Day Options. Which is Better?

Some say to think small, not big. Trying to play Disney options is thinking big. It is a stock slightly out of favor. If we start with it's a three year chart, we will see it is down by about 50% over that period of time. Now it's one year chart. If the stock can break 110 in early 2024 the sky is the limit. It does have a lot of moving parts so anything could happen. Look at these Calls options one year out. One year in options buys a lot of time.They look reasonable. If the stock ever inched up to the $105.00 price level in the three or four months these options would jump up in price by about 50%. Even more if they had really good news. News on Polestar , Lucid (Trading After A Reverse Stock Split) Plus Ford News And Vinfast

Look at the one year chart on Polester. Now it's one month chart. What's going on? It's confusing. It was down $.36 cents on the week. If you want you can spend $.20 or $.25 on Puts and hope that the company goes under in the next five or six months. They recently raised more money by releasing more shares so it's running out of options. You can't run at a loss forever and this news will most likely scare off potential new car buyers. This actually is a low number of outstanding Put options. The consensus seems to be that it is not game over yet. Lucid started trading this week on a "one-for-ten" reverse stock split. Here is its one week chart. It was down $1.39 on the week. It's also going to struggle. Both of these stocks have challenges ahead. On a more positive note here is a chart that looks kind of perky.
